Closed12 is an app testing marketplace. Developers buy testing; testers do the testing and get paid. This policy covers the Closed12 Android app and this website.
Who is responsible

What we collect
Account details. Your name and email address come from Google when you sign in. You may add a phone number.
Location, at state and city level only. You pick your state from a list and type your city. We do not use your device's GPS and the app does not hold a location permission.
Device identifier. We read your device's Android ID and bind it to your account. This is how one phone is stopped from collecting the same reward several times over. It is not used for advertising.
Device model and Android version, so a developer can see which handsets their app was tested on.
Screen recordings, for testers only, and only while a testing session is running. The recording starts when you start a session and stops when you stop it. Anything else visible on your screen during those minutes is captured too, which is why the app warns you before the first recording.

App usage figures, for testers who turn on usage access. We read how many seconds the app under test was in the foreground, for the duration of your session. We do not read your usage of any other app.
Payment records. What was paid, refunded and withdrawn, and the Razorpay reference for each.
Bank details are NOT collected by us. When you add a bank account, the account number and IFSC are sent to Razorpay, who process the payment. We store only the identifier Razorpay returns and the last four digits, so you can see which account is being paid.
Why we collect it
To match testers to campaigns, to prove to a developer that the testing they paid for actually happened, to detect fraud, to pay testers, and to answer support requests. That is the whole list. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Razorpay, for payments and payouts. Google Firebase, for push notifications and sign-in. Cloudflare R2, for storing proof media. Resend, for email. Each receives only what its job needs.
We will disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Screen recordings and screenshots: 30 days, then deleted.
Account data: while your account exists.
After you delete your account, your name, email, phone, location and device details are erased and your email address is replaced with a tombstone so the same Google account can sign up fresh. Payment records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires, because we are not permitted to delete them.
Your choices
You can decline screen recording and usage access. Testing jobs need them, but your account, your balance and your withdrawals keep working without them.
You can delete your account at any time from Profile in the app, or by emailing vikasbuilds.ofc@gmail.com. See the account deletion page for exactly what goes and what stays.
You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct it, at vikasbuilds.ofc@gmail.com.
Children
Closed12 is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top and, for anything significant, tell you in the app.
